Desexing can prevent several health issues in pets including mammary (breast) cancer, testicular cancer and life-threatening infections like pyometra. It also prevents unwanted pregnancy and reduces male pets trying to escape out of the backyard or home.
From 6 months onwards. Your pet is never too old to be desexed but it is better to do the desexing earlier in life.
Desexing will not change your pet’s personality but may reduce some unwanted hormone-linked behaviours like aggression.
